Building Self-Esteem:

This is the process of creating a positive view of and confidence in one’s value and capabilities. It entails acknowledging and celebrating one’s accomplishments, special talents, and abilities while accepting responsibility for one’s actions and lessons learned from failures.


Factors that influence self-esteem in day-to-day life.

A person’s daily self-esteem can be influenced by a variety of circumstances.
The following are contributing factors:

  • Negative interactions can diminish our self-esteem, while positive interactions, such as empathetic behavior and acts of compassion, can raise it.
  • Reaching individual objectives or succeeding in various spheres of life might boost our self-worth.
  • While a favorable body image can raise self-esteem, a negative body image can contribute to poor self-esteem.
  • In contrast to a negative atmosphere, which can undermine self-esteem, a supportive environment can raise it.
  • Low self-esteem might result from unrealistic expectations and beauty standards.


Ways of building healthy self-esteem that promote social cohesion:
